The
Bunny
Bunch
Angel
Fund
Here at
the
Bunny
Bunch we
want to
help
every
rabbit
we can.
All too
often
rabbits
are
taken to
vets or
shelters
to be
euthanized
because
their
humans are
not
willing
to care
for
them. It
is very
common
for us
to get a
call
from a
person
that has
just
found
a sick
or
injured
rabbit
in the
street.
Our
Angel
Fund helps
these
rabbits.
By
donating
to our
Angel
Fund you
will
be helping
us save
the
lives of
those
who need
it most. You
can
donate
online
now.
Or, you can
come by
the
Burrow
to give
a
donation,
or send
a check
to Bunny
Bunch
Angel
Fund, PO
Box

With
your
donation
of $50
or more
you will
receive
a color
photo of
an Angel
Bunny as
a thank
you for
your
support.
Here at
the
Bunny
Bunch we
fall in
love
with all
of our
rescued
rabbits.
The
Angel
bunnies
have a
special
place in
our
hearts
as we
often
stay up
with
them
night
and day
through
their
sickness
or
injuries,
syringe
feeding
them,
giving
them
medication,
fluids
and lots
of TLC.
Because
of our
volunteers
and
supporters
like you,
these
rabbits
are
saved!
We thank
you from
the
bottom
of our
hearts.
Bunny Bunch
Angel
Rabbits
 Meet
Clarence. This poor boy
was left in a cardboard
box with a broken
back. After some vet
care and TLC he is
thriving. He has an
excellent appetite and
loves cilantro, romaine,
and dandelion greens!.
He also loves his chew
toys.
Currently he does need
to have his bladder
expressed twice a day,
and needs a bottom bath
a few times a week. We
put him on soft bedding
so he keeps nice and
dry, which also helps to
prevent sores. Apart
from that he just needs
regular care. We are
hoping to fit him for a
cart so he will be able
to get around without
having to scoot
everywhere.
If you have room in your
home or heart for this
little guy please let us
know so you could meet
him. For more
information email
caroline@bunnybunch.org.

Valentine was left on the doorstep of one of our volunteers. As you can see he is in very rough shape. He has very bad sore hocks, so bad that his front feet are deformed. He is very underweight, and had a
very bad eye infection. Once we get him better, he will be neutered and looking for a home.

Dudley Doolittle was rescued from a shelter covered in fleas and mites.
Plus due to his malocclusion (crooked over grown teeth) he was not able to groom himself and got a
horrible case of fly strike which caused an infestation of maggots.
|

Rosemary,
Thyme and
Basil
Rosemary is
being
treated for
a lung
infection.
We are not
sure what
her
prognosis
it, but she
is a happy
bun living
with her two
brothers.
|

Twinkie is a love but has a problem with a
reoccurring
ear infection. Apart from that he is the
perfect bunny!
|

Ralph & Rosebud - These two buns are in their
senior years.

Frankie
(TB
Angel
Rabbit)
Poor
Frankie
lost
his
home
when
he
got
a
jaw
abscess.
He
is
being
cared
for
at
the
Burrow
and
we
are
hoping
he
will
have
a
speedy
recovery
and
get
back
into
a
home
to
be
loved.

Nutmeg (TB
Angel
Bunny) This
little girl was
found wondering
the street with
a broken leg.
She is a very
sweet, small red
rex girl. She
isn't available
for adoption yet
but will be in a
few weeks. If
you are
interested in
giving a home to
her you can
visit her at the
Burrow. |

Prince is one of the rabbits rescued from Long Beach City College. As you can see he is quite ill with a bad case of Syphilis. After doing health checks on about one hundred of the rabbits at the college we founds signs of Syphilis on about thirty percent of them, which means they all need to be treated for it. Prince has a much worse case. The good news is Prince is now at the Bunny Bunch Burrow being treated. It won't be long before he will be back in good health and ready for adoption, and we will post a new picture of him at that time.

Elvis (2009)
This little
guy was
being given
away by children on
a street
corner.
Someone took
him but when
they
realized
something
was wrong
with him
they brought
him to us.
His back
legs are
splayed and
his front
right leg
goes
backwards
like a
flipper. His
spine is
fused in two
places. He
is now about
eight months
old but
weighs less
than 2lbs so
we think he
was the runt
of the
litter. He
will need
special care
and butt
baths to
keep him
clean. He is
a joy to be
with.

Kanga and
Sunny
(2008)
These two
buns were
bonded
together for
comfort after
their legs
had be
removed.
Kanga came
to us with
a broken
leg, and
Sunny came
to us with
a splayed
leg. We
though they
would make
the perfect
couple and
we were
right-it was
love at
first sight.
They both do
fine with
three legs.
Sunny isn't
the best
with his
litter box
so some
bottom
bathing
needs to be
done once in
a while.
Plus he
doesn't
always get
into the
litter box.
His foster
Mum can show
anyone
interested
in adopting
how to do a
good set up
for them.

Logan (2009)
ADOPTED
This sweet
boy is going
through a
lot. After
having
testing done
because he
wasn't
feeling good we
discovered
that he has
a calcified
aorta. We
have not
heard of
this in a
rabbit
before and
are doing
research to
see what can
be done. He
is a sweet
boy that
will need
very special
care and
currently
still needs
more medical
tests.

Mr
Scoots
(2009) -
Adopted
Mr Scoots
was found
outside an
apartment
building
just sitting
all alone.
A kind
person
scooped him
up and took
him to the
local
shelter.
While at the
shelter he
wouldn't
walk but
just scooted
with his
chin close
to the
ground.
Upon
examination
it was found
that he is
totally
blind. Mr
Scoots now
lives with
another
bunny who he
is very fond
of. He has a
great life
with a big
litter box
full of hay,
fresh
veggies, a
bun to groom
him and
humans to
love him. He
was adopted
by a Bunny
Bunch
director.
|

Ginger (Feb
2010) -
Adopted
Ginger was
left in a
box at a
vets office,
then taken
to a
shelter.
Luckily we
were
notified and
took him
in. Upon
X-ray we
found he had
a broken
back. When
he is ready
we will have
him fitted
for a cart
so he can
get around
by himself.
One of the
Bunny Bunch
directors is
adopting
him.

Sophie (2010)
This little baby was abandoned when someone came to the Burrow. We were trying to help them care for their rabbit, but they walked out leaving the rabbit and didn't come back. Sophie is safe with us now. She is a very sweet loving little girl. She has three splayed legs but can get around very well.
|

Blu
(Feb 2010)
This guy was
found in the
street. His
back leg is
splayed and
his knee is
scraped. He
is doing
well now at
the Burrow.
He is a cute
little guy
with lovely
blue eyes.
He
loves
attention
and will
scoot all
around after
you.
|

Paddy (Jan
2010)
We rescued
Paddy from a
city
shelter.
When he
arrived here
at the
Burrow we
noticed that
he had
bilateral
cataracts. He
is a lovely
bunny and
does great
even though
he can't
see.
He would do
best in a
home with
another rabbit
to show him
around.
