ADOPT A RABBIT!

Thank you for your interest in adopting a rabbit. When you adopt instead of buy a rabbit you are saving precious lives that would otherwise have been lost.

All our rabbits are spayed or neutered and litter box trained and just waiting for a home of their own. Click here to read our Bunny Basics about rabbit care.

We ask for a donation of $85 for a single rabbit and $125 for a bonded pair. This helps cover the cost of the spay or neuter. This is much cheaper than buying a rabbit, since most spay or neuters are over $150. It is important to have a rabbit spayed or neutered even if you have just have one, to help prevent cancer and bad behavior such as spraying urine and being territorial.

To adopt a rabbit you can fill out our online adoption application or print and mail/fax an application, or come to one of our weekend adoption events. Below you will see lots of lovely rabbits available for adoption listed by area. Some rabbits are marked "High Risk". that means due to lack of space we are unable to take this rabbit in to our foster program. We post their photos on our site in hopes of getting them a home. As soon as we adopt a foster rabbit we are able to rescue another.

For all your rabbit supply needs shop at www.BunnyBunchBoutique.com and help us support the rabbits.

Cinnamon

(FB) This cute little guy was found wondering the streets of Torrance all alone. Someone found him and took him home, but they can only keep him for a few days as they have dogs that are not safe being around a rabbit. Please let us know ASAP if you are interested in adopting him. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Chocolate
, also know as Chai (KS) is such a loverboy! What a snuggly, little, brown Holland Lop he is... He doesn't mind being held and will even melt into your neck as if to hug you! This three-pound boy is around six months old. He was dumped at the pound but we bailed him out and got him neutered because we know we can find him a forever loving home quickly, hopefully one with a bachelorette bunny so that he can be her sweet little husbunn. He's currently being fostered in Monrovia. Please submit an adoption form if you're interested in meeting this little guy. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Say hello to Scotty and Savannah! What a devoted couple! Scotty (gray) is a rescued Garden Grove pond bunny. Savannah (brown) was rescued from another dangerous situation. She was kept in a cage that she could not stand up in. She was rarely fed and kept on the front porch in the hot sun where dogs could come up and bark at her! She was rescued from that horrid nightmare and brought into our foster program. Scotty fell in love with her right away! Both tolerate being held. Scotty is still shy but is much more trusting now. Savannah loves to be petted but is a kicker from time-to-time. Only an experienced bunny person would be best for these two darlings. Their foster mom has come to adore them. Scotty is a small bunny (probably 3-4 lbs) and Savannah is about 5-6 lbs. They are in their outdoor run posing for photos. Must be adopted together. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Vincent

Peaches is extremely holdable, sweet, and a bit on the small side (no more than 3-4 lbs.) We also assume she is a very young rabbit probably not older than 1 year. What gorgeous markings she has! Notredame
(VE) is now bonded to Little White Bunny. He is a handsome little Hotot who was rescued from Garden Grove. He had a huge abscess on his back which made him look like a hunchback, hence his name. During his neuter, Notredame's abscess was removed by one of our bunny vets and now Notredame is healthy and happy, thanks to a dedicated volunteer who medicated him and pampered him after his surgery. Notredame still needs some socialization so he would do best in a quiet home, where he can be loved from afar until he gets to know his humans. Little White Bunny (LWB) has helped Notredame feel safe and loved. LWB doesn't look so little next to her new tiny husbunn, but they are both small rabbits who fell in love right away. She knows what it's like to have a bit of a defect. She was bitten in the nose by another rabbit so she has a little nose flap :( These two are so in love and are constantly kissing each other. If you're interested in this cute, little odd couple, please email bunnystuff@hotmail.com. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Fade
(VE-Carson) is one of 15 bunnies at a home in Carson. A family with good intentions took in four unwanted rabbits when neighbors were moving. They didn't realize that some were pregnant so they had a baby boom. Fade is one of the female bunnies and she's a sweet one, too! She's a beautiful white girl with peanut butter-colored markings who was named after the faded brown stripe she has on her back. Under a year old and weighing about five pounds, Fade is a happy-go-lucky curious little lady who longs to have a home and husbunn of her very own. Please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com for more information. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Pudge
(VE-Carson) was named because she was pudgy when a family took her in when she was about to be abandoned by neighbors. They didn't realize that she was pudgy because she was pregnant! Chip and Alvin
(TB) are believed to be silver marten brothers, or Dad and son. They were separated when they were turned into a city shelter a over a month ago. When they came to the Burrow we noticed they had the same exact mark on their noses. We looked on the paper work that came with them and it happens they were turned into the city shelter on the same day and had consecutive control numbers. together. Click here to fill out an adoption form

Ratatouille
(VE) is the cutest, sweetest, most kissy baby bunny we've ever met! This tiny Rex mix was named Ratatouille because his expressions and winning personality remind us of the wonderful little character in the movie. Plus, he licks everything and everyone, as though he's trying to sample all different tastes. We're so impressed by how sweet and loving Ratatouille is, especially since his life didn't start out well at all. He was rescued as a three-month-old from a really filthy environment where he was improperly handled and accidentally dropped by a child. Ratatouille had very bad sore hocks and his privates were covered in feces. This poor little guy had to have his nether regions cleaned up and shaved which resulted in a little rat tail. Now he's healthy and working on his litter box training. Serena
was turned into a city shelter in horrible condition. She had such bad soar hocks that she could not walk, in fact one of her front legs was so bad with infection that it bent backwards. She will never be able to use it again. Luckily one of our volunteers saw her at the shelter so we were able to rescue her. After three months of intensive treatments and surgery we are happy to report that she is happy and healthy. All four of her legs have permanent damage due to the sore hocks, in fact this is one of the worst cases we have ever seen. She will need to be on long term medications, but we have no doubt she will now have a happy long life. We just got her spayed and in a couple of weeks she will be ready to find that special place in someone's heart. Because of donations made to our Angel Fund Serena is alive today. Peanut and Pokey
are two wonderful, litter box trained house rabbits who have been together for a year. Peanut the Lop was rescued from a neglectful situation where she was purchased at a pet store and then was kept in a tiny cage. Once we got her spayed we introduced her to Pokey, a gorgeous, friendly charcoal-colored bunny who was found hopping around a beach neighborhood. Peanut loves her tall, dark, and handsome hubby and they are inseparable. He loves to groom her and seems to whisper sweet nothings in her ear almost daily ;) Although most bunnies are not low-maintenance pets, these two are actually pretty self-sufficient and so meticulous that you'll only have to clean and tidy up their area every other day. They currently live with an elderly dog so they have their own room in foster care. It is our hope that their future adopters will provide for them the same standard of living. Please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com for more information. Or, please call us at the Bunny Bunch at 909-591-7200, or email Caroline. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Young, neutered, medium sized male.
Jefferson was the most recent 'dump' at the Garden Grove Pond rescue location. The Garden Grove pond location has been free of bunnies for months, and just a few weeks ago someone dumped another bunny there. Jefferson was all alone, injured and very hungry since most of the foliage has been cleared out. His injury was a large wound on the side of his face and neck that looked like he had been attacked. It was cleaned and he was on antibiotics, and now he's as healthy and happy as ever. His litter box habits are excellent. He loves to run around and binky in his pen. He currently lives alone. Jefferson is a very sweet bunny and needs very much to have a permanent home of his own. Click here to fill out an adoption form. VC
