ADOPT A RABBIT!

Thank you for your interest in adopting a rabbit. When you adopt instead of buy a rabbit you are saving precious lives that would otherwise have been lost.

Our adoption center "The Burrow" has lots of rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs and other small and furries waiting for their forever homes. If you are interested in adopting please come by. We also have a fully stocked store with everything you need. Buying from our store helps us support lots of homeless animals.

All our rabbits are spayed or neutered and litter box trained and just waiting for a home of their own. Click here to read our Bunny Basics about rabbit care.

We ask for a donation of $85 for a single rabbit and $125 for a bonded pair. This helps cover the cost of the spay or neuter. This is much cheaper than buying a rabbit, since most spay or neuters are over $150. It is important to have a rabbit spayed or neutered even if you have just have one, to help prevent cancer and bad behavior such as spraying urine and being territorial.

To adopt a rabbit you can fill out our online adoption application or print and mail/fax an application, or come to one of our weekend adoption events. Below you will see lots of lovely rabbits available for adoption listed by area. Some rabbits are marked "High Risk". that means due to lack of space we are unable to take this rabbit in to our foster program. We post their photos on our site in hopes of getting them a home. As soon as we adopt a foster rabbit we are able to rescue another.

For all your rabbit supply needs shop at www.BunnyBunchBoutique.com and help us support the rabbits.

It's almost like she has little spots of charcoal throughout her coat. The best thing about Lake is that she's friendly. She has a great personality and she's only a year old. (VE) are two bunnies who were rescued from Garden Grove, they are about a year old. They are an inseparable pair. They're almost always together, whether they're lounging, investigating, or checking out Supergirl, the hamster, in her hamster ball. PG demands smoochies from FN frequently and he obliges. Peanut and Pokey
are two wonderful, litter box trained house rabbits who have been together for a year. Peanut the Lop was rescued from a neglectful situation where she was purchased at a pet store and then was kept in a tiny cage. Once we got her spayed we introduced her to Pokey, a gorgeous, friendly charcoal-colored bunny who was found hopping around a beach neighborhood. Peanut loves her tall, dark, and handsome hubby and they are inseparable. He loves to groom her and seems to whisper sweet nothings in her ear almost daily ;) Although most bunnies are not low-maintenance pets, these two are actually pretty self-sufficient and so meticulous that you'll only have to clean and tidy up their area every other day. They currently live with an elderly dog so they have their own room in foster care. It is our hope that their future adopters will provide for them the same standard of living. Cleo
(LA-DG)
This little princess is gorgeous! She's so dainty and
still so in charge all at once and she can't wait to
meet Mr Right!

Marty and Meribelle
are a very devoted couple!
Marty (left) lost an eye at the Garden Grove pond but that just makes him all the more sweet! His lack of vision in one eye doesn't effect him at all. They both are simply wonderful, sweet rabbits! Meribelle is adorable and loves her Marty so much. Both are very holdable!! They would be a terrific bunny couple to get to know. They are small to medium sized bunnies. Sparkle
(VE) is a master jumper! She's an petite athletic superstar, the Michael Jordan of the bunny world! This gorgeous little chinchilla colored bunny is learning to trust humans and enjoy lovin', after what seems like an abusive and neglectful youth. At first she would involuntarily flinch when any person or bunny would touch her, but she was drawn to try over and over again to make friends. Now she enjoys affection and tries to get head rubs almost all the time and the flinching has stopped! She needs a patient home with gentle people and bunnies to help her blossom into her full wonderful self. Are you the one for her? Please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com if you'd like to add a little Sparkle to your life. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Hip Hop
(VE) is a one year-old bunny who loves to dance and binky and would love to be adopted and loved. He's
social and friendly and ready to find his forever home. This
sweetheart is very mild-mannered and would do fine in a home with gentle children. Hip Hop would likely bond to a sweet girlbunn since he was rescued from a home where he lived with fifteen other rabbits. This four-pound boy is quite a
wonderful bunny, but he just isn't very photogenic,
unfortunately. He has good litter box habits though! For
more information, please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Happy Feet
(CD) This medium red-haired explorer boy is a dancing fool! He can't stop squiggling and kicking up his heels, and zooming around at top speed, only to stop on a dime. He loves to play an enthusiastic game of run-around-the-feet or I-got-your-tail. This playboy will run off with your heart before you know it's missing, and when he's trailing your every step, his happiness makes the littlest apartment seem as spacious as a palace. For more information, please call us at the Bunny Bunch at 909-591-7200, or email Caroline. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Sadie
(black bun) and Maddie (Angora bun with hair cut) are sweet girl buns that love each other and are about 3-4 years old. They were rescued from an Orange County shelter years ago where they had been separated by accident. They were very sad but some rescuers realized that they were a bonded pair and re-united them and they have been together ever since. They really love each other and would love a forever home where they can spend their days with each and have human love too. They like being petted but are not keen on being picked up. Their new foster mom is trying to work with them on this. They love their hay as well as their parsley! Maddie needs to be brushed frequently due to her special fur so that she does not get mats. Sassy (SM)
should be the poster child for why everyone should get their bunny spayed! This beautiful lady made quite the transformation from angry, scared, and hormonal, to calm, and somewhat trusting in a matter of days after her spay surgery. It's incredible how much she has come around in such a short time. When Sassy was dumped at the pound by people who were moving, she would grunt and run away from people. She was likely abused, or at least neglected and mistreated. Now, she LOVES to get head scratches and gets excited when someone approaches her with veggies in hand. Not just that, once you stop petting her, she'll express her displeasure by thumping her foot to try to get you to continue loving her! She is definitely not an easy bonder, so if you only want to adopt one bunny, Sassy is the girl for you. This three year-old Siamese beauty weighs approximately six pounds and is litter box trained. If you would like to foster or adopt this sweet, Sassy girl, please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com.

Pancho & Lefty
, neutered brothers, were hand-raised by a volunteer after being abandoned at a local shelter to be euthanized. They're now about five-months old, healthy, curious, and best friends. The boys would like a loving forever home, where they will have plenty of room in which to frolic and explore, tender pets (or massages!), and oodles of fresh hay and veggies. Pepsi and Buster
(VE) were enjoying their life as a happily married couple in a bunnyproofed home until their guardian became ill and suddenly had to undergo open heart surgery. She was devastated to lose her bunnies, but the doctors told her it was a matter of life or death, so, with her heart literally breaking, she returned them to us. All she wants is for Buster and Pepsi to find a loving home in which they can be loved as much as she loved them. We found them a home, but they were returned again three months later, due to no fault of their own. If you can provide a true forever home, please contact bunnystuff@hotmail.com Buster is a former classroom bunny who was dumped at the pound before he was rescued. He's a friendly English Spot cross who weighs about seven pounds and loves to lounge around... this boy is truly a couch potato. Pepsi is a black MiniLop who weighs about five pounds and loves to investigate. She'll run circles around Buster and enjoy performing binkies for you. This couple will make you laugh and bring happiness into your life. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Snowbal
l (AM) is a very friendly and sweet fluffy boy who was rescued from a shelter with large matted knots in his fur. He is about 3 years old and obviously needs regular grooming. Fortunately, he's very good natured and loves to be brushed and pet, so that makes him easy to care for. He's very entertaining when he does his binkies - like a big ball of fur jumping for joy. Houdini is a shy girl with a big heart and big eyes full of love while Dutchess is small but feisty! Both girls love to be petted and love their hay and pellets. They have both been spayed and have excellent litter box habits. Dutchess enjoys her veggies while Houdini is still learning to acquire the taste of cilantro… Both of these bunny girls are bounding with energy and will leap their way into your hearts. If you give her a chance, she will sit with you and soak in your pets all day long! Splotchy is also from Bugs' litter and is 16 weeks old. She has the best litter box habits and really enjoys her hay, pellets and veggies with a special taste for cilantro. Wilshire (SK)
was found near the beach on the 100 block of Wilshire Blvd. He's a sweet fellow who weighs just over four pounds. Wilshire has good litter box habits. We don't know his age, but he seems healthy except for one thing. Sadly, he has malocclusion which means he's a special needs bunny. He's currently under the care of a great bunny vet, but is very much in need of a forever home. If you'd like to adopt this sweetheart and/or contribute towards his vet care, please contact us. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Notredame
(VE) is now bonded to Little White Bunny. He is a handsome little Hotot who was rescued from Garden Grove. He had a huge abscess on his back which made him look like a hunchback, hence his name. During his neuter, Notredame's abscess was removed by one of our bunny vets and now Notredame is healthy and happy, thanks to a dedicated volunteer who medicated him and pampered him after his surgery. Notredame still needs some socialization so he would do best in a quiet home, where he can be loved from afar until he gets to know his humans. Little White Bunny (LWB) has helped Notredame feel safe and loved. LWB doesn't look so little next to her new tiny husbunn, but they are both small rabbits who fell in love right away. She knows what it's like to have a bit of a defect. She was bitten in the nose by another rabbit so she has a little nose flap :( These two are so in love and are constantly kissing each other. If you're interested in this cute, little odd couple, please email bunnystuff@hotmail.com. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Rosie
is a beautiful girl. Her head and ears are light gray that fades to white on her back. She is a former Irvine Shelter resident who had to leave because of her special needs. She has a bad back like a lot of us humans. It makes her hop funny, but she has no trouble getting around. She needs to be a house rabbit on an absorbent surface because she sometimes misses the litter box, then sits down in her puddle. She has a voracious appetite, so she needs a home where the humans will keep her slim and trim. She also needs a large exercise area that will keep her back healthy. Because she’s slower than other rabbits, she is easy to catch. She loves being petted and will sit with you as long as you want.(KM)

Arial (LA-CD)

Look at that face! This small hotot girl bun is quite
possible the cuteist bun ever. She gives the best
looks in the world, and you will find yourself having
very involved conversations with her. She's a sucker

situation to try some new exciting veggie, or on those
rare special days, fruit. Click here to fill out an adoption form.

Say hello to Scotty and Savannah! What a devoted couple! Scotty (gray) is a rescued Garden Grove pond bunny. Savannah (brown) was rescued from another dangerous situation. She was kept in a cage that she could not stand up in. She was rarely fed and kept on the front porch in the hot sun where dogs could come up and bark at her! She was rescued from that horrid nightmare and brought into our foster program. Scotty fell in love with her right away! Both tolerate being held. Scotty is still shy but is much more trusting now. Savannah loves to be petted but is a kicker from time-to-time. Only an experienced bunny person would be best for these two darlings. Their foster mom has come to adore them. Scotty is a small bunny (probably 3-4 lbs) and Savannah is about 5-6 lbs. They are in their outdoor run posing for photos. Must be adopted together. Click here to fill out an adoption form. (CW)

Rabbits for Adoption in Orange County, Irvine & Baldwin Park

For all of the rabbits below, please email Caroline. Or call us at the Bunny Bunch at 909-591-7200.
Regarding rabbits with the remark this rabbit is at extreme danger of euthanization. The Bunny Bunch is a no kill rabbit rescue. When a rabbit is listed as at a high risk of being euthanized, it is because that rabbit is in a high kill shelter. Often we have no more room to take in these rabbits, which is why they are still at a shelter. If you are interested in adopting one of these high risk rabbits, please email us and also call our hotline at 909-591-7200, so we can talk to you ASAP. Also, if you adopt one of our foster rabbits, it will free up a space for us to take in a rabbit that is at high risk of euthanization at a high kill.

If you love being entertained and like to laugh, here are five of the most adorable siblings (1 girl and 4 boys), affectionately nicknamed "The Flying Wallendas." These cuties are the most fun and energetic group that will keep you entertained for hours and will reward you daily with their antics. They're curious, shy, rambunctious, sweet, gentle and playful bundles of joy who need a lot of space to romp and chase. They are not destructive to your property, and they are excellent with their litter box. They just love to play with their toys and with each other but wisely are still a bit wary of humans. Even though they are a bunch of gentle adorable clowns, they are also gorgeous beautiful rabbits. Be warned, they are addictive! They can be adopted out in pairs if 5 is too much of a challenge, but we would prefer to keep them together and adopt them out as one family. Please email Caroline.
