Over 30 years ago Caroline rescued a rabbit. After taking the rabbit home and realizing she wanted the rabbit to live inside her apartment, not outside in a hutch, she let the rabbit have run of the downstairs area. The rabbit, “Benjumin”, started to use the cats litter box. He was part of the family, jumping on the couch for a nap and begging at the fridge door for veggies. This was the beginning of the Bunny Bunch, one of the first rabbit rescue organizations. Bunny Bunch has rescued and rehomed thousands of rabbits through the years. Plus, Bunny Bunch has been a leader in rabbit care and health. Bunny Bunch was ran out of Caroline’s home for over twenty years. Bunny Bunch now  has two adoption centers in Southern California, although Caroline still cares for many special needs rabbits in her home.
