Clair Bear was found tied up in a grocery bag in a park at just a few days old. The person that found her saw the bag moving when she was walking in the park at night. When she opened the bag there were baby bunnies in there. Sadly two could not be saved, but the other one was wiggling around. The person called my cell to tell me what she found. I arranged to meet her at a gas station by the park.
Clair Bear went home with me. After warming her up I was able to syringe feed her and gave her fluids. She eagerly ate and continue to do so. As you can see she thrived. She has now grown into a wonderful rabbit. She was spayed a few months ago.
Nut Brown Hare, one of the disabled rabbits that lives at my house, took a liking to her. As you can see below, they are now bonded and living a happy life together.
Thank you to all our supporters and volunteers. Happy Endings do come true.
