As we prepare to ring in 2025, we want to ensure your rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas stay safe and stress-free during the celebrations!  Fireworks and loud noises can be overwhelming for our little friends, so here are some tips to keep them feeling calm and secure:

 Create a Cozy Hideaway

• Set up a quiet, comfortable space where they can retreat. Cover their enclosure with a light blanket to reduce noise and light.

 Mask the Noise

• Play soft music or white noise to help muffle the sound of fireworks. This can create a calming atmosphere for them.

 Stay Calm

• Animals pick up on our energy, so keep calm and relaxed to reassure them that everything is okay.

• Make sure windows and doors are closed to block out loud noises and prevent any escape attempts.

 Keep Them Occupied

• Provide their favorite treats or chew toys to help distract them and keep them entertained.

 Be Present

• If possible, stay nearby to check on them and offer comfort if they seem stressed.
