Rabbits like to keep clean and will lick themselves like cats. However, unlike the cats, rabbits cannot vomit. Hair can become gigantic masses of tangled hair and can block their GI system, and they could go into stasis.

Rabbits need to be brushed on a regular basis. A well-groomed bunny is a happier and healthier bunny.
