It’s been a little over a year now since the first case of RVHD2 was reported in California. Since then there have been more cases and
it looks like it’s here to stay.
This is a reminder for those of you who got your rabbits vaccinated right away last year that the annual vaccine is needed. Check the date on your vaccine paperwork so you don’t miss it.
Rabbits living indoors can get RVHD2 too. So to be on the safe side get your rabbit vaccinated.
Here at Bunny Bunch we vaccinate all our rabbits. We suggest keeping your rabbits 100% indoors even if they have had the vaccine, as the vaccine is not 100% effective.
