We are sorry to say that the lab rabbits won’t be coming to the Bunny Bunch. We received a text letting us know that all the rabbits have homes with students that attend the college where the lab is. The good news is the rabbits will be getting out of the lab and won’t be euthanized. We do worry that the students may not know what to expect when caring for a rabbit, and that the rabbits may not be properly housed.
Bunny Bunch needs 20 people to commit to giving homes to lab rabbits in need of rescue now. Please help us give them a happy ending.
We will rescue the rabbits, and have them spayed or neutered, but they will need homes to go to within two weeks. Please help us make this happen. Over the years we have done several lab rescues. Sophie (pictured below) was rescued from a lab last year. At first the rabbits are so scared, it takes time for them to realize they are safe and that nothing bad is going to happen to them. With time they learn to trust again and will have a lovely relationship with their humans. Call or text 909 631-9552. Lab rabbits are beautiful, big white rabbist, with pink eyes and long ears. They have a special place in my heart. I really hope we can save them. Please share. Thank you Caroline.
