Meet the amazing, Helen!
What do Reno Nevada and Bunny Bunch have in common?
BLOSSOM my rabbit!
Who would have guessed a trip to visit my brother in Reno would
connect me to being a first-time rabbit owner and volunteering at
Bunny Bunch Fountain Valley. When I got to Reno my nephew’s
daughter who was 4 years old had a 7-month-old bunny (Blossom)
who was living in a cage most of the day as they became too busy
with work to spend much supervised time with her. They decided they
couldn’t keep her but didn’t know what to do. So of course I figured it
would be easier to find her a home in Orange County with our
beautiful weather and I packed her up in my car and drove to sunny
Huntington Beach! Well, you can guess the rest of the story…. thanks
to Caroline and Bunny Bunch I learned what I needed to take care of
her from grooming, feeding, litterbox training, medical conditions to
living free-range in our house. For the past 5 years as a volunteer, I’ve
been able to share those skills and also help with our special events
and adoptions!
Thank You, Bunny Bunch!
