RHDV2 Update

A confirmed case of RHDV2 has been reported in San Clemente in a wild rabbit (not domestic). Rabbit Viral Hemorrhagic Disease 2 is a deadly contagious disease to rabbits. It is not contagious to other animals.

The RHDV2 vaccine is now available in California. There may be a waiting list.

We suggest keeping your rabbits indoors 100%. Absolutely no time for outdoor playtime. Plus getting them vaccinated to protect them.
